The new bet from the Dutch shipyard Edorado is the Edorado 8S model, which stands out fundamentally because once the boat is sailing it does so on two foils that drastically reduce friction, specifically more than 60%, thus making the consumption is reduced to levels never before known.

As expected, the interior of the 8S is also at the forefront. Front and center, the dashboard features three 15-inch touchscreens that give you access to important data and a bit of entertainment if you want. Naturally, the operating system also runs over-the-air software updates to ensure it stays up to date.
The cabin has built-in ambient lighting, a Bluetooth sound system, and even a built-in picnic set with a wine cooler. There's also plenty of storage space on board for water toys and other essentials.
What is considered innovation in the yachting industry is no longer enough in the current reality of the climate crisis,” Groothuis said in a statement. “Our goal with the Edorado 8S is to chart a course for clean motorboating.”
The sale price will be around €350,000, once it goes on the market in 2023.
