A magnificent high cruise in a position to fulfill any navigation program that is proposed to you. Excellent electronic equipment, great engine, powerful generator, good candles. He's ready to sail.

In 1962 Manfred Kanter moved with his wife from Hanover in Germany to Canada. Although he had studied naval construction in Hanover, his initial activity had nothing to do with it. Manfred had a 6m FI with which he participated successfully in regattas. At the beginning of the Seventy Years, using his knowledge, he built a boat to sail from cruise with his family and embarked on a journey that led them across the Caribbean and across Europe, with several stages. That on-board life experience made Manfred mature some knowledge that served him in the new activity he launched upon returning, in 1977: Kanter Marine, for the construction of steel cruise yachts. The meticulousness of Manfred's constructions and the perfection of the finishes of their ships decreed the success of the company. Although production did not reach large numbers, it was growing in measurements and only ten years later, Manfred had to look for a wider area to continue building. Since then, Kanter Marine is located in St.Thomas, in the state of Ontario and today continues to manufacture cruise ships and professionals, almost always of aluminum. Manfred Jr. and his brother Christopher took the father's relief and, following the same guidelines, they are dedicated exclusively to naval construction, without parallel activities. Dieter Empacher, having collaborated for almost twenty years with the famous Ted Hood, founded his own firm in 1982. Manfred and Dieter have collaborated since then and one of their most impressive creations is the Kanter 65, a high-rise cruise without complexes, or borders of any kind. A good cruiser, said Manfred Kanter, does it have to be so fast that it can escape a storm and so strong that it can sail on it? The Kanter 65 is a ketch with a very fine helmet, capable of great speeds. The sail is very generous, without complexes and being divided into two sticks of great lengthening, it is very effective even in girded and easy to handle by a small crew, thanks to the powerful manoeuvre and the relatively small surface of each candle. The traditional American arrangement, with central bathtub, perfectly protected by an elegant rigid capota, concentrates the maneuver of the boat in the baricentro, effectively reducing the sensitivity to the brusque movements in case of bad weather. The Rebel Jo, which is now called Good Hope, is a very personalized Kanter 65, be it in its dimensions, is 66 feet, be it in the construction material, with steel helmet and cover and aluminum cabin. The scrub mark of the deck creates a strong and altered bow, with double anchoring role. The stern, on the other hand, has a wide access platform, which is easily transformed into a beach for sea baths. On both ends there are large styba cloths. Under deck the boat is luxuriously finished in varnished teak wood, with a modern and timeless style, which does not affect the passing fashions. All the cabins are spacious, full of stiba and with bathrooms included. The bows have the shower in common, a great solution in terms of space utilization and very elegant, with their rounded mamparos. In all the details we notice the taste for the finishes of the very high level, such as the windows and hats lined with rounded moldings of solid teak and with a textile cord that underlines the moulding. Like rounded corners of all mamparos, cabinets or tables. Even the use of spaces, with multiple places in which to stop to read, meditate or listen to music, favors the good coexistence on the boat. The electronic endowment is lush and although it is no longer in the latest fashion, it is very useful and works perfectly. The Good Hope is in very good maintenance conditions and only needs a cycle of paints on deck and arrangements on the Sika de la teca board. In fact, he's ready to sail right away.
